Why physicians are looking for better jobs
Physicians are having an increasingly more difficult time finding great jobs in the US. More and more, my colleagues are looking for better job opportunities due to low reimbursement, increased patient loads (with lower insured percentages), difficult medical staff or hospital administrators, ER call, lack of sub-specialty coverage, longer partner buy-in waits, etc. So how can any physician find a really good job? The interview certainly is not going to help. I have found that really the only thing that a physician can rely upon is word of mouth from valued and trusted physician friends.
